I design and build original concept wooden yard games in my shop. I also make games you can play in your browser, plus websites and programs for everyday workers like truck drivers and air balance technicians.
Every game starts as my own idea: the shape, the play, and the artwork. Then I work it out in wood.
My pong boards are shaped like surfboards and waves instead of plain rectangles. Each one has graduated target holes along the centerline, folding legs so it packs down for the trip, and decorative artwork covering the whole deck.
They're played with ping-pong balls, so it's a laid-back game you can set up on the grass, the sand, or the patio.
